The State of Qatar condemned and denounced the explosions that occurred on Tuesday morning in Brussels, Belgium.
Three separate explosions were reported — two at the Brussels Airport and a third at a metro station in the Maelbeek neighborhood in downtown Brussels.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the State of Qatar strongly condemns these criminal bombings, which oppose all human values and principles, and aim to terrorize unsuspecting innocent bystanders and destabilize international peace and security.
The statement stressed Qatar's full solidarity with the friendly Kingdom of Belgium in the face of all forms of violence and terrorism whatever the motives and causes were.
The statement also expressed Qatar's sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery for the injured. (QNA)
