The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Washington, represented by Deputy Head of Mission Dr. Hamad Mohammed Al-Muftah and a delegation from the Embassy, presented a donation of $150,000 to the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation in support of youth health and wellness programs at FedExField

The Embassy of the State of Qatar will host a sports event in Washington, DC on 12-2-2019, in cooperation with Redskins, on the occasion of the National Sports Day of the State of Qatar, with the participation of children from a number of American schools and the presence of American sports and political figures. The National Day of Sport, an annual celebration in Qatar, is an event to encourage and support youth involvement in sport and activity.
