The State of Qatar participated in the Middle East Strategic Alliance (MESA) meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the US State Department in Washington, DC.

The delegation of the State of Qatar was headed by HE Director of Policy and Planning Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Khaled bin Fahad Al Khater.

The meeting discussed the regional challenges in the areas of security and combating terrorism in the region within MESA framework with the participation of the member states of the alliance.

The meeting was also attended by HE Director of American Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Dr. Essa Mohammad Al Mannai.
