HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani, Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of Mission of the State of Qatar to the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), presented to Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO, a document of individual partnership and cooperation program between the State Qatar and NATO, which was adopted by the State of Qatar.

HE the Chief of Staff the Qatari Armed Forces Major General Pilot Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem met separately on Monday with each of Vice-Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Paul Silva, Vice Chief of Staff of the US Air Force Gen. David Goldfein and Director of the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency Gen. Joseph Rexy on the occasion of his visit to the United States. Talks during the meetings dealt with military relations between the State of Qatar and the United States and ways of enhancing them.

Qatar Development Fund (QDF) signed on Wednesday a 50-million dollar grant agreement aimed at contributing to the Lives and Livelihoods Fund (LLF) that was established by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
